Terry has practiced solely family law since 2009. The majority of Terry’s cases settle, but when settlement is not possible, her court experience will ensure your case is presented clearly and effectively to obtain results. Terry has experience representing high-net-worth clients, including entertainers, professionals and executives. She also has experience with LGBTQ matters, high-conflict cases, and complex financial issues.

Immediately after obtaining her law license, Terry joined the real estate group at international firm, Sidley Austin LLP. She transitioned to family law in 2009, working at the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law assisting victims of domestic violence. Terry then worked at two boutique family law practices in Los Angeles.

Terry earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where she graduated in the top 10 percent of her class. She honed her research and writing skills as a member of Law Review and as a judicial extern at Los Angeles Superior Court for the Honorable Robert L. Hess, now retired. She is a member of the Order of the Coif. She graduated summa cum laude from Eastern New Mexico University, where she also obtained a Master of Science in Communication with honors.

Terry is licensed to practice law in California (State bar #252370). She is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
